Josh Money

Since his first piano lessons at age five, Josh Money has been composing music. At 13 he began his first recordings with two tape recorders and a casio keyboard. He soon picked up the guitar, bass, and drums. At 18 years old, with influences ranging from Segovia to Chopin, he began performing his own classical compositions at his guitar recitals. His guitar teacher urged him to pursue a career in classical guitar but his true passion was producing in the studio.

He was soon asked to produce a song for pop artist Amy Best at Heritage Studios. The studio was so impressed with his work that they invited him to come back to assist as a drum programmer and session guitarist. Later he enrolled at FullSail and in his second month he won first place in a film song writing competition. The song eventually became the theme song for the indie motion picture Flying Tiger, which was featured at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival. Later in April, his first electronic track was featured on the cover dvd of the audio magazine Computer Music.

He soon signed a contract with Selective Recordings and wrote the song 400 Years Till Dawn with label owner Abdul Bayyari. The track was remixed by Eelke Kleijn and Cressida and was also picked up by Enhanced Recordings and featured on their critically acclaimed CD compilation Digitally Enhanced Vol 1. mixed by Will Holland.

Continuing to broaden the scope of his work, Josh accepted the role of film composer, scoring the indie mockumentary, Stagbunny.

He also delved into the video game industry, working on the EA title Superman Returns, providing 5.1 audio testing as well as character voice-overs along with those of Kevin Spacey and Brandon Routh.

He currently stays busy in Orlando where he works as a lab instructor for Advanced Audio Workstations at FullSail, plays guitar for the electrifying breaks group, Chakra Blue, and has now teamed up with legendary producer Chris Domingo to produce some hot new block rockin House and Breaks.
